Global Talent Call: The Amazing Chinese Next Gen is an international showcase and award initiative celebrating the creativity, passion, and excellence of Chinese youth worldwide, ages 8 to 30. From traditional arts and academic achievements to athletic excellence and innovative pursuits, this global call invites second-generation Chinese youth to step into the spotlight, share their talents, and shine on the world stage. Join us as we empower the next generation to honor their heritage, express their voices, and illuminate the future.

To celebrate the legacy of Chinese culture abroad and recognize the remarkable achievements of Chinese descendants in today’s rapidly changing world, we are launching the inaugural “The Amazing Next-Generation oversea Chinese” Awards.

為了弘揚中華文化在海外的傳承，也為了進一步展示華夏後裔在全球變革中所做出的卓越貢獻，特舉辦首屆“了不起的華二代”評選活動。

This event is open to overseas Chinese youth, including children (ages 8–12), teens (13–17), and young adults (18–30) . We aim to highlight outstanding individuals of Chinese descendants, foster a strong sense of cultural identity, and inspire the continuation of Chinese heritage.

本次活動將面向全球華裔兒童（8-12歲）青少年（13-17歲）和年輕一代（18-30歲）。通過評選讓我們將匯集更多的優秀海外華裔新生代，也讓更多的年輕一代完成自身的族裔認可和傳承中華文化。

The program will run from mid-May to mid-October, culminating in a prestigious awards ceremony in New York City. Throughout the process, we hope to strengthen bonds within Chinese communities worldwide and encourage active participation in shaping society. Most importantly, we seek to identify and empower a new generation of cultural ambassadors who will represent and speak up for the global Chinese community.

本次活動將從5月中旬開始一直持續到十月中旬匯聚紐約舉行隆重的頒獎儀式。在整個的進行中，將進一步拓展華人社區的凝聚力和參與社會變革的主動性。我們更要從中尋找未來能代錶華裔形象，為族群努力發聲的新一代儲備力量。

You are that “remarkable” descendant of Chinese heritage!

This is not a competition, and it’s not about unhealthy rivalry. Our hope through this event is to help every child of Chinese descent truly understand and embrace their identity. We want every child to realize that they are unique and truly remarkable—Even if you don’t have an outstanding report card,Even if you don’t possess exceptional talents—That’s perfectly okay!

Letting others see your own version of “remarkable” is the very reason we’re hosting this event.

你就是那個“了不起”的華夏後裔！我們不是要競賽，我們也不是要內卷，我們希望通過這次活動能真正讓每一個海外華裔後代了解和認同自己的身份；也讓每一個孩子明白自己是獨一無二的，是了不起的！即使你沒有顯赫的成績單，即使你不會出眾的才藝。都沒有關係！讓別人看到屬於你自己的“了不起”就是我們舉辦這次活動的初衷。我們期待看到——熱衷服務社區的你，樂意幫助他人的你，尊老愛幼的你，努力學習中文弘揚中華文化的你.......平凡但與眾不同的你！只要你站在舞台的中央，你就是“了不起的華二代”！

This event is part of the 3rd International Chinese Original IP Film Festival and the New York International AI Film Exhibition. As a nonprofit initiative, all proceeds—after covering essential expenses—will be allocated to Charitable Fund.

本次活動也是第三屆國際華語原創IP電影節暨首屆紐約Ai國際影展的系列活動之一。本次活動為公義活動，除了必要的開銷之外，剩餘部分（假如有的話）將全部用於公益基金。

1. Award Categories:

1) Core Awards:A. Outstanding Achievement Award (Children/Adolescents/Adults)

一、獎項設置：

A  卓越成就獎（分兒童組/青少年組/成人組）

o   文化藝術類：文學、音樂、影視、戲劇、歌唱、舞蹈、美術、樂器、魔術、脫口秀、設計創新等

o   社會貢獻類：公益、環保、社區服務

o   體育競技類：職業運動員、校隊明星、傳統體育推廣者

o   任何以上沒有羅列但您自己認為“了不起”的都可以參與

B 專項獎：

o   年度新銳獎（30歲以下突破性成就）

o   體育新星獎（需比賽成績証明）

o   才藝新秀獎（需演出視頻或10萬+社交媒體粉絲）

o   跨文化影響力獎（在中外交流中表現傑出者）

o   未來領袖獎（卓越的領導力表現）

2) 特別榮譽：

o    家族傳承典範獎（如武術/戲曲世家創新代表）

o   逆境突破獎（克服傷病/歧視取得成就者）

o   社群選擇獎（網絡投票TOP3）

2. Eligibility

1) Basic requirements:

•    At least one parent of Chinese descent

•    Born or raised overseas (AT least immigrated aboard with parent(s) before high school graduation)

•    Age 8–30 (grouped as: 8–12 Children, 13–17 Teens, 18–30 Adults)

•    Priority given to applicants with notable achievements in the past 3 years (proof required)

2) Submission Materials：（Please use your First Name Last Name as attachment files name)

•    Personal statement (500 words, in either Chinese or English)

•    A video (up to 90 seconds, in both Chinese and English) addressing cultural identity

•    At least one recommendation letter (preferably from a professional institution)

•    For sports/arts categories: competition certificates / performance videos (max 3 minutes), and a coach or organizer’s letter (preferred)

本人出生或成長於海外（至少大學前隨父母移民來美國學習）

過去3年內有顯著成就優先（附証明）

4. Evaluation Process

1. Preliminary Review (May 20 – August 30):Online submission and basic eligibility screening

2. Expert Judging Panel (September 1 – October 1):

           Public Voting (20% weight): Audience votes online.                 

Expert Evaluation (80% weight): Includes a cultural innovation index.                 

Sports category: Submission of certificates                 

Arts category: Online performance (10% of score from audience voting)

3. Results Announcement (2 weeks: 10/1 – 10/14): Published online with opportunity for appeals

4. Awards Ceremony: October 18 (tentative) in New York
