The Dragon Tales Foundation proudly presents the second International Chinese Language Original IP Film Festival, a celebration of Chinese culture, cinematic innovation, and cross-cultural exchange.
Our Mission
This festival aims to bridge Chinese-language creators worldwide, foster cultural exchange between China and the United States, and provide a platform for both established and emerging talents in the film industry. We are committed to promoting diverse voices, including senior citizens, LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities, in Chinese-language media.
Event Highlights
• Academic Forum at Harvard University: Exploring Chinese-language film development, emerging trends, and AI in filmmaking
• Script Competition: Showcasing fresh narratives from aspiring writers
• Short Film and Video Competition: Highlighting talented filmmakers from around the globe
• Awards Ceremony at Boston City Hall: Recognizing outstanding contributions to Chinese-language cinema
• Cultural Tours: Discover New England’s[XJ/1] rich culture and Chinese heritage
• Special Screening 1: Featuring works by renowned director Jin Xie, offering both nostalgia for older generations of Chinese immigrants and an insightful glimpse into modern Chinese history for younger audiences
• Special Screening 2: "Sunflower Squad," which has inspired many children with special needs. These inspiring stories include a 12-year-old autistic boy who raised money through food deliveries with his mother to establish an arts fund for special needs children, an 11-year-old autistic skiing prodigy breaking barriers in sports, and a 21-year-old with dyslexia pursuing a degree in special education law at NYU.
